The "Fundamentals of Facilitation" course, led by Daniel Saaty, Decision Lens Chief Scientist, walks facilitators through valuable techniques to effectively lead a group towards common goals and objectives.


The first two videos that make up this course help facilitators pinpoint best practices for leading a group of stakeholders through the Decision Lens Pairwise and alternative ratings sessions. The last three videos in this series, led by Daniel Saaty, Decision Lens Chief Scientist, walk facilitators through valuable techniques to effectively lead a group towards common goals and objectives.

  1. Facilitation Techniques: Establishing Priorities- Learn facilitator controls and how to lead a group of stakeholders through the Pairwise process in Decision Lens (5 min)
  2. Facilitaiton Techniques: Rating Alternatives- Learn facilitator controls and how to facilitate collaborative ratings sessions (6 min)
  3. Facilitation Techniques Part 1 - Learn tools and techniques in facilitating group meetings and helping participants achieve goals/objectives (8.5 min)
  4. Facilitation Techniques Part 2 - Understand consensus, address concerns as they arise, and prioritize conversations (7 min)
  5. Facilitation Techniques Part 3 - Learn about mirroring and managing diverse personalities. Facilitation techniques are summarized (9 min)
